Actively Cooled Dimlux Lighting for a Massive Boost in Output Levels
This Nanotube version of the Dimlux Expert Series 1000w fixture is capable of boosting double-ended 1000w / 400v grow lamps by an enormous 20% (instead of 10%). The Nanotube can deliver yields that are approaching 10% higher than the regular Dimlux fixture (which was renowned as a big yielder anyway!). This is due to the fact that it facilitates improved ventilation, allowing you to channel hot air away from your grow room, keeping your room running optimally at higher output rates.

How the Dimlux 1000 Watt Nanotube Fixture Works


The key feature of Dimluxs 1000w Nanotube unit is the 20% boost mode, effectively turning this fixture into a 1200 watt system. This is made more practical for your grow room by using active cooling. Users of Dimlux fixtures will be aware that previous models had 50mm vents connected to the reflector. These vents allowed you to remove excess heat before it affected the grow area. The Nanotube model takes this concept and pushes it to the next level by reconfiguring the internals and including two vents: one for air-in and one for air-out. Cold air is pushed into the unit via the vent closest to the ballast. It then moves around the fixture, removing the heat generated by the ballast and lamp, after which its exhausted via the vent closest to the reflector. This technology allows you to get the very best performance possible from 400v / 1000w equipment.



The lamp is encased in a glass tube, forming a sealed unit. The air that you push through the fixture never comes into contact with the rest of the room. For this reason, theres no need to worry about smells. Air is pulled from an outside point, through the fixtures and back out without ever getting contaminated with odours. One less thing to have to think about!
